• Logline: A motivational speaker plagued by an itch on her head becomes infected with a parasitic demon from her homeland.

ROLES:

• THE SANSHI : This creature is a demon, tall (6 FT+), thin, a curse residing in people's bodies and manifested through shadow. It has six massive arms, its lean body is covered in ants, and it is as alluring

  as It Is rebusive. The character will wear a creature suit that will cover them completely. They will be voiced by a VO actor so the actor playing the character on screen will not need to voice the character but rather embody the creature believably

  ** LOOKING FOR SOMEONE FLEXIBLE, 5'10"+ / THIN, AND IDEALLY WITH EXTENSIVE MOVEMENT EXPERIENCE HERE.

• AUNT THUY: Female, 50's, Vietnamese, with heavy make-up, painted-on eyebrows, intensely-long and brightly coloured nails, and a perm of black hair, Thuy is Valerie's aunt who owns a struggling nail salon. Sarcastic, suspicious, and superstitious, she has an image that she would like to keep up, which means she isn't enthused to receive donations from her rich niece or share disturbing secrets about their

• SANG: Male, 68, Vietnamese, with a shaved head and bloodshot eyes, Sang is Valerie's estranged father who was practically absent during her childhood. Formerly a soldier in the South Vietnam army, he is now a Buddhist monk. Erudite, charming and a bit holier-than-thou, Sang is an enigmatic figure whose motives are never what they seem. Though usually calm in demeanor, he becomes someone else entirely whenever his heroin addiction overcomes him. He carries a venomous darkness within him. This character speaks English fluently with a Vietnamese accent and also has lines in Vietnamese... SUPPORTING (23)
